Hi, I’m Keegan.
I’ve spent 20 years in finance, media and technology, building companies and working with creative people.
Investment banking first, then a Hollywood studio, then a company of my own, then another. The constant has been stories—the rights behind them, and how people experience them.
Now, my focus is Atticus—a consumer AI reading platform making books interactive, alongside the authors and publishers behind them.
About Me (in case you were wondering):
- 2× founder (Atticus, Cavalry).
- 3× girl dad.
- AI native. Analog childhood.
- Self-taught coder (shipped the Atticus MVP end-to-end).
- Recovering investment banker.
- NCAA College Hockey National Champion (St. Anselm, 2004).
- Film, TV, and podcast producer (including Motorheads for Prime Video).
- Avid Boston sports fan.
- 5am workouts.
- Lived in China for a bit (Ni hao).
Now
Atticus
I’m building Atticus so readers can have a conversation with a book—and authors and publishers share in the value.
The app is simple: read or listen, ask the book a question, and get an answer grounded in the licensed text and cited to the source. I started it in 2025 with my co-founder and best-selling author, Chase Jarvis; since then, a pre-seed round, a private beta, world-class authors, and the first licensing deals—structured so rightsholders are paid when readers talk to their books.
